Occupational Therapy is a health profession included in the field of rehabilitation, the purpose of which is to prevent and/or reduce acquired or congenital disabilities, whatever their origin.
The goal of occupational therapy is for the individual to be independent and autonomous in their environment and in carrying out their activities of daily living (ADL). This is achieved by restoring impaired functional capacities and/or developing adaptation and/or compensation techniques.
